Gold School Games Mark

We are pleased to announce that we have been awarded the Gold School Games Mark for our commitment to sport and keeping our children active! A huge thank you to everyone who has supported us and helped us to achieve this award!

Sports Day 

A great sports day with lots of fun was had by pupils and parents alike! We were also privileged to receive a visit from Emma Fletcher from Manchester United's coaching team, who inspired our girl footballers this week.

Events from across the year

It has been a privilege to take our pupils to so many sporting events this year - including netball festivals, boys and girls' football events, cross country running, a cricket tournament, dodgeball, handball, rugby and more besides! We are lucky to have so many sporting pupils at St Mary's!

Sporting Successes!

Without doubt, this has been St Mary's best year EVER for sporting successes. As part of our local cluster group of primary schools, we have been victorious in: the Shaw and Royton football league, a rounders tournament, netball, inclusion dodgeball, cross country, cricket, and tag rugby. We came second in a festival of netball and second in the girls' football competition. We remain committed to providing the best sporting opportunities possible to our pupils.
